I'm from Barcelona.

I have always worked as a librarian (although I studied for other things that never came to be) and I have always defined myself as an inland and city person ... until I heard more things about the sea and as myself "why not?".

I like to think of myself as an adventurous person, although so far I have not climbed mountains or gone to the depths of sea

Since the idea of sailing aroused I have done several courses (including first aid) and now I'm soaking in practice, never better.

I love reading, getting to know new places, being with people, cooking and, most importantly, learning new things.

I speak Spanish, Catalan, and I manage quite well with French.

I'm Dutch, an electronics engineer and a vocational sailor.

Since I was a child I dreamed of sailing and have been gaining the necessary training for a long time, I have sailed many miles and I finally achieved the dream of living at sea.

I like Do-It-Yourself projects, and restoring Alea has been a challenge of hard work and pleasure at the same time. Now I know every little corner of the boat!

I'm happy reading a good book, listening to music, sharing an evening with friends, traveling, discovering, learning new things, and sharing what I know with others...

I speak Dutch, English and Spanish and I do not too bad with German.
